Kickhollow in ChatGPT

Kickhollow Football is a ChatGPT plugin. You coach; a game engine decides the games; ChatGPT narrates them and runs the program with you in plain language.

Coming soon to ChatGPT

Try these

  • “Let's play Kickhollow. Start me a program in a town called Cedar Ford.”
  • “Play today's Kickhollow game and call the action.”
  • “Scout the top quarterback on my Kickhollow recruiting board.”
  • “Start a Kickhollow program in conference KPRTMD.” (with a friend's code)

Getting started

  1. Add Kickhollow. In ChatGPT, open Plugins, search for Kickhollow Football and add it.
  2. Start your program. Say “Let's play Kickhollow” and, if you like, name a made-up town and a mascot. The card shows your roster, the recruiting board and your first opponent.
  3. Play each day. Say “play today's game”. The engine plays it and ChatGPT calls the key moments. Come back tomorrow for the next game day.

What it does, and what it doesn't

  • Every game is simulated by a deterministic engine on our server from both teams' starters and game plans. Asking twice gives the same result; nobody can re-roll a loss.
  • ChatGPT narrates only the moments the engine returns, and never sees a recruit's true rating, a friend's game plan, or a computer coach's plan for the next game.
  • One game day per real day in your conference's time zone. Friends' conferences kick off when every coach has locked in, or at 7 PM.
  • Typed chat is what we test. ChatGPT Voice may not call Kickhollow reliably yet; name the app when you ask.
  • Schools and players are fictional. No real players, schools or team trademarks.
